Sunset in Bunbury

On my last weekend in Bunbury, Sa came to visit for a bit and we went down to the beach to catch the sunset. As the above picture shows, it was spectacular. There was a bit of cloud cover above us, but as the sun slipped below the clouds and showed us its full face, we were very much impressed.

Back in Perth

I'm finally back in Perth after a good four weeks down south in Bunbury. The point of the attachment was to learn the differences between healthcare in urban centres and rural centres. Unfortunately with Bunbury being the second largest city in WA, the 'rural' aspect of it was also going to be difficult to find.

Anyway, I'm back in Perth now and it feels great. Actually, I secretly snuck back to Perth for two of the weekends I was supposed to be away... and I actually managed to catch Eskimo Joe launching their new album at 78 Records. Check out the pics down the right hand side there, underneath the Flickr heading. They played acoustic versions of several songs from the album, which sounded great. Me and Sa even managed to get pics with the band and also both got signed albums. Our first brush with showbiz!

Good luck to the Socceroos tonight as they face the might of Italia. Get in there!
